“Welcome guide: a challenge launched beyond the warehouses.”
This is how the provincial councilor for culture Marzio Favero defined the “Hospitality Guide: along the architecture road from Monte Grappa to the Badoere roundabout” a real bilingual tourist guide created thanks to the work of Pro loco united in the three consortia Asolano, Castellano and Pedemontano with the collaboration of the municipal administrations, the Province and the Veneto Region.
A new way of thinking about tourism, finally creating a “network” as has been underlined by many parties. 309 pages where the itineraries, the streets of culture and architecture were mentioned and where all the interested municipalities are reported, including 26 including Castelfranco, Montebelluna, Asolo.
The guide, another important aspect, was created with the contribution of the Pro loco and some young people who carry out civil voluntary activities and also waiting to take the exams to become tourist guides. In short, a work of years that has finally seen the light. President Unpli Veneto explained how this work started a few years ago also at the request of the then tourism councilor Marzio Favero: “A new way of proposing Pro loco who must take care above all to welcome and animate”. For his part, Councilor Favero also wanted to be there to “see finished a job that we had started first with the entrusting of the tourist offices to the Pro loco. This Guide is a summary of the work done over the years with the enhancement of our treasures “.
