Verona. Vinitaly April 2-5, 2023

The 55th edition of Vinitaly, the International Wine and Spirits Fair, will be held from April 2 to 5, 2023. If you too have always been intrigued by this event and would like to find out a little more about its history and how to participate, read on.

Vinitaly annually hosts more than 4,000 exhibitors, 125,000 visitors and 33,000 foreign buyers. This year the event will be divided into several thematic areas including Vinitalybio, International wine, Vinitaly tasting, Vinitaly design, Micro Mega Wines and Enolitech.

Vinitalybio is the section dedicated to organic wine produced both in Italy and abroad, while International Wine is dedicated only to international production, with numerous tastings aimed at introducing wines and spirits from various countries including Austria, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey, Croatia, Argentina, Spain, South Africa and many others. Vinitaly tasting is an event-tasting in collaboration with journalist Daniele Cernilli while Vinitaly Design deals with everything related to wine promotion: from glasses to gift packaging, from giftware to furnishings for wineries, restaurants and wine shops. Here you can meet buyers from the Horeca world (Hotel/Restaurant/Café) and Vinitaly exhibitors offering various tastings. Micro Mega Wines is a new initiative designed for wineries that have small but high-quality production from both native and international grape varieties. Finally, Enolitech is the international exhibition that deals with technology applied to viticulture, olive growing and beverage.

If you have decided to attend Vinitaly for only one day, the most convenient means of avoiding queues is undoubtedly the train. Verona Portanuova station is about a 20-minute walk from the Fair, otherwise there is a shuttle service. If you prefer to use your car, however, you can reach the city via the A22 and A4 highways. If you come from the A22 highway you can park either at the Bentegodi stadium or at the Veronamercato Agribusiness Center. If, on the other hand, you are coming from the A4, it is best to leave your vehicle at the parking lot of the Adigeo shopping center.

If you decide to combine a visit to Vinitaly with a weekend in Verona, you can easily drive to the city and get around with the free shuttles that leave from the city center or the ATV buses.

The fair is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. In order to maintain the professional standard of this event, access is allowed only to specialized operators of legal age.
