Verona. Nativity Scenes from the World – from 19/11 to 22/01

The Exhibition, organised by the Fondazione Verona per l’Arena at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia, consists of a rich display of cribs and works of art inspired by the theme of the Nativity, coming from museums, collections, master crib-makers and enthusiasts from all over the world and, as such, offers a complete artistic picture of the intercontinental crib tradition.

The exhibition continues to gain great acclaim and recognition every year, as if to underline its multi-ethnicity and tolerance between peoples of different cultures.

The exhibition is in the Guinness Book of Records, with its 400 nativity scenes from all over the world.

Also in the Guinness Book of Records is its symbol, the Comet Star, conceived by Alfredo Troisi and designed by Rinaldo Olivieri. It is the largest archisculpture in the world, made of steel, 100 metres high and weighing 88 tonnes.

The exhibition has been thrilling young and old for almost 40 years.

Experience the magic with cribs from all over the world, each year is different!
