Treviso. “Enchanted Christmas” until 6 January

Once again this year Treviso dresses up for the festivities: each district will have its own Christmas tree and the traditional star-shaped illuminations on the water return with a novelty: a selfie station in Piazza Rinaldi for the little ones and in Via Buranelli for the older ones. In addition to the traditional horse-drawn carousel, ice skating is already available in Piazza Borsa (until 16 January).

The Loggia Incantata this year will be transformed into a Christmas village with a wooden house and reindeer where Father Christmas will be waiting for children for a souvenir photo. In addition, children will be able to post their letters in the boxes they will find at the Loggia and in Piazza dei Signori, the most beautiful of which will be awarded a prize in January.

Every Saturday and Sunday in December between 3pm and 7pm, the streets of the centre will be the scene of travelling performances by dancers and street artists, from the Wishing Goblins to the Snow Lords amidst laughter and magic. On the same days, Piazza Rinaldi, Piazzetta Aldo Moro and the Pescheria will host music, theatre and traditional performances.

The Via dei Presepi, from 27 December to 6 January, passes through Treviso’s main churches and there will be a living nativity scene in a procession on 24 December starting at 3.30 pm. The “Treviso city of art and water” guided tours are back on 4 and 18 December, 8 and 22 January at 3 pm.

On 11 December at 2.30 p.m., “Walking in nature: where the Sile accompanies you” takes you along the Restera.
