Three-day Longarone Fiere event dedicated to tourism and Horeca sector unveiled today

Dolomiti HoReCa and Dolomiti Show return to Longarone. Protagonist also sports with the Veneto Region
Presented today in Sala Piloni, guests of the Provincial Administration of Belluno, the 2nd edition of Expo Dolomiti HoReCa and the 6th. Dolomiti Show. Two events returning together, as they did in 2019 before the pandemic crisis, to support the all-round development of Dolomite hospitality. Scheduled for Monday, October 10 at 11 a.m., the official ribbon-cutting ceremony with the participation of two great testimonials, Paola Pezzo and Kristian Ghedina.
Doing the honors this morning was Provincial Councillor Simone Deola: “The tourism asset of our territory is facing a crossroads, dictated by the great difficulty of the period: energy price increases risk causing even worse consequences than those caused by the pandemic. Therefore, being able to organize a moment of confrontation among stakeholders in the tourism galaxy is most important. Last week the province passed an odg on energy price increases, calling for stances from national politics: the goal is to protect the accommodation and production sector. I believe the occasion of Dolomiti Show is an additional push to address the issue and reason about the future of tourism. Thanks to Longarone Fiere, which is always an extraordinary engine for initiatives of this kind.”
Enthusiastic Longarone Fiere Dolomiti President Gian Angelo Bellati: “October 10, 11, 12. Three beautiful days where we will have both Dolomiti HoReCa, a very important fair in the catering, restaurant and hotel sector where we will have the opportunity to give all the operators in the sector, operators precisely in the hospitality sector, the opportunity to meet with suppliers of products and services. So a great kermesse on a very important theme for such an important territory as the Belluno Dolomites and the whole Veneto region. Then we have Dolomiti Show, organized together with the Veneto Region. An event attended by more than 20 international tour operators who come to meet and meet directly in person with tour operators who want to propose Belluno and the Belluno mountains as a tourist destination. An initiative that is part of the larger Buy Veneto program, carried out by the Veneto Region precisely so that tour operators from all over the world can meet in our wonderful region.”
Coordinating the work was Dolomiti Show Director Mauro Topinelli: “Once again this year Dolomiti Show is hosting the Buy Veneto mountain special, now in its 5th edition. An event dedicated to the mountains of Belluno strongly desired by the Veneto Region and in conjunction with the Buy Veneto. On Monday, October 10, 20 buyers will be present at Longarone Fiere to meet accommodation facilities and tour operators from the province in Belluno: a unique opportunity to present the tourism offer of our territory. Dolomiti Show will give continuity to the theme of accessible tourism by presenting the concrete actions that have been carried out in the last year. Not only that, it will host the photographic exhibition of the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation “Extraordinary Beauty,” a path that enhances the 9 systems that make up the UNESCO Site. We will then talk about sports and mountains to take stock of how the territory is preparing for the challenges of 2026, with the direct involvement of the Cortina Foundation. We have organized an event dedicated to the theme of connectivity, designed for municipal governments, entities and tourism operators. The goal? To begin to understand together how the growth of the territory can be improved and facilitated through internet connectivity.”
Big news this year is another initiative of the Longarone Fair, Dolomiti Sport. Explaining its intentions, President Bellati: “The first intent, and here again we are together with the Region, is to launch the candidacy of the Veneto Region as the 2024 European Sport Region. Second, is definitely the promotion of 2026. This is a very important moment because of the Olympics, but it will be remembered as a very important event together with so many subjects.” Great expectations then for the conference on Tuesday, October 11, where, starting at 2 p.m., there will be a great confrontation event with all those realities that represent the European, Italian and regional sports world, starting from its founding and most important values.

So an intense three days will be held in Longarone. Also speaking are the numbers that see in Dolomiti HoReCa over 170 exhibitors for almost 200 brands represented and coming from 11 Italian regions and 13 foreign countries. With the best of the companies supplying goods and services to hoteliers, restaurateurs, public establishments in the Dolomites, and the mountains in general. We are talking about equipment and facilities, hotel supplies, large kitchens and facilities, food products for catering, beverages, Contract furniture, software, technologies and services.
In fact, the fair is aimed at all businesses operating in the mountain and foothill areas of northeastern Italy, with a focus on areas with a tourist vocation that are demonstrating continuous expansion. With it comes the need to offer solutions and services that are more and more adequate to an international incoming of multiple needs.
The fair will be open from Monday, Oct. 10 to Wednesday, Oct. 12, with hours of 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and access will be by invitation only and reserved for industry professionals.
