The Veneto Region is a candidate for European Sport Region 2024

On Tuesday 11 October, Veneto Region Councillor for Sport Cristiano Corazzari will speak at the convention ‘The candidature of the Veneto Region as European Sport Region 2024. Sport and mountains: the opportunities of the Olympics and Paralympics’ as part of the Dolomiti Sport 2022 Convention at 2 p.m. in Pavilion C of Longarone Fiere Dolomiti, in Longarone (BL). The convention will be the occasion to launch the candidature of the Veneto Region as European Capital of Sport 2024.

The President of Longarone Fiere Dolomiti, Gian Angelo Bellati, is enthusiastic. This year the Fair presents a great novelty. Together with Dolomiti HoReCa and Dolomiti Show, from 10 to 12 October, it will also host the Dolomiti Sport Convention. “The first intention, together with the Region, is to launch the candidature of the Veneto Region as European Sports Region 2024.
