For this reason, the Gypsotheca Canova Museum is happy to finally be able to reopen its doors, to be able to share with you again all the beauty of the Canova heritage of the Museum.
Starting today, they await you with many novelties and the new exhibition “Paolina. History of a masterpiece “. The Museum wants to pay homage to the work by dedicating an exhibition to it that intends to enhance the path taken by Canova to reach the realization of the definitive masterpiece, in the stylistic and compositional choices, focusing interest on the graphic, pictorial and plastic works that preceded the work itself. , retrace the historical events of the plaster model that belongs to our heritage over the course of time, from its genesis to the present day and finally open a discussion on the theme of the restoration of plaster.
The Museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday: 09: 30-18: 00; Sunday: 09: 30-19: 00.
