Positive results for the 62nd Mig di Longarone and many expectations for 2023

A week after the closure of the 62nd International Ice Cream Exhibition, held in Longarone from 27 to 30 November, we can draw conclusions. A positive edition, above expectations in terms of participation and consensus. Almost 10,000 visitors and over 3,000 trade operators from 37 foreign countries.

For the president of the Province of Belluno and mayor of Longarone, Roberto Padrin, “Mig is confirmed as the reference exhibition for artisan ice cream and once again Longarone Fiere was the perfect place to bring together the operators of this great world, which is worth almost 1 billion euro for Italy alone (out of the 2 billion euro business of ice cream in general – latest data from Cgia di Mestre). The feedback recorded by the operating companies was excellent. This is also true for the data of the visitors who visited the stands over the four days. Indicative data, which urge us to continue along the road of promoting the product and protecting the artisans who for decades have been carrying on this great tradition of Made in Italy and Made in Belluno”.

Also for the coordinator of Mig 2022, Dario Olivier, the edition surprised many with its quality and quantity. Both for the products and equipment on display and for the visiting operators. “Mig 2022 under the banner of recovery. The ice cream world met in Longarone for the 62nd time and we had visitors from all over Europe, mainly from Germany and Austria. Longarone has always taken special care of the entire ice cream chain: ice cream producers and the general public, who had access to the pavilion on Sunday. It also had the opportunity to actively collaborate in the success of Mig. There was great excitement at the trade fair, where various topics related to the world of eco-sustainability were discussed. Together with the companies, we gave concrete answers on the subject of environmental sustainability, energy saving and economic savings. After the positive feedback we received over these four days, we are convinced that we can look forward to Mig 2023 with a very positive attitude”.
Expectations are also supported by the various exhibiting companies that have already expressed their desire to return next year. Some have already confirmed until 2024.
