Already expected to be sold out in the Sala Botti of Viticoltori Ponte, which on Wednesday, March 29, starting at 8:30 p.m., will host the well-known psychiatrist and essayist Paolo Crepet during the meeting, with free admission subject to availability, entitled “The power of trust between parents and children, in prevention, in ourselves.”
That the issue of trust is central is already evident from some objective data coming from Istat. With 404,000 children born in 2020, it was the lowest number since the Unification of Italy and almost 30 percent less than a decade ago. But not only that. The population is aging so much that today half of Italians are at least 47 years old, the highest median age in Europe. Along with Paolo Crepet, two specialists from Centro di medicina Oderzo will be on stage: sports physician and Olympic rower Alessandra Patelli and noted cardiologist Giuseppe Favretto, former head of the O.U. of Preventive Rehabilitation Cardiology at the Highly Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital in Motta di Livenza and former president of the Marca trevigiana Medical Association.

The meeting is promoted by the Serenissima Mutua ETS Association, with the scientific and organizational participation of Centro di medicina Oderzo, with the fundamental organizational collaboration and hospitality of Cantina Viticoltori Ponte, with the support of BCC Pordenonese e Monsile and the patronage of the Municipality of Ponte di Piave.
Introducing the evening were Serenissima Mutua ETS Association President Mauro Verona and Ponte di Piave Mayor Paola Roma. Moderator was journalist Marco Ceotto. At the end a toast offered by Viticoltori Ponte.
