Live the Sile safely: the experimental project is underway

The “Sile Safe 2021” project was born from the collaboration between the Sile Park Authority and FISA Treviso: on an experimental basis, two operators and a dog unit will watch over the Sile, in the section between the Burci and the Cendon marina. It is only a first step to increase and ensure safety along the resurgence river

For the first time, the experimental project for monitoring the Sile River along the most popular stretch of water is launched. From 1 August, for all Sundays until 12 September, an aquatic dinghy will be operational in the stretch from the Burci to the small port of Cendon di Silea.

The “Sile Safe 2021” project is an experimental project of the Sile River Regional Natural Park Authority, in collaboration with the Italian Federation of Aquatic Salvation (FISA) of Treviso, and the aim is to increase and guarantee the safety of the Sile river in peak period. On the Sundays of the next month and a half, from 09.30 to 12.30 and from 13.30 to 18.00, two people will be present, with the extraordinary presence of a rescue dog unit, ready to monitor the river in order to verify what potential actions field in the near future.
