Francesca Michielin is one of the most complete and interesting artists of the current music scene. She is 26 years old and was born in Bassano del Grappa. She is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, in 2016 she comes second in Sanremo with No degree of separation (2 platinum) and she represents Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest. In her career she has collaborated with the most important names of the new Italian music scene, and with her live performances, most recently Spazi Sonori, she has trod the stages of the main Italian clubs and the line ups of the most important festivals ‘summer.
She has five albums to her credit and in March 2021 she returned to the Ariston stage for the 71st edition of the Sanremo Festival with the song Call me by name paired with Fedez, arriving in second place. The song, which rose in a few hours to the first place of the most listened to songs on Spotify Italy and on all digital platforms, and entered the Spotify Global Charts and the Billboard Global Excl, dominated the Fimi / GfK ranking of the best-selling singles in Italy. and has obtained double platinum certification. The video, shot in some of Milan’s most iconic theaters, has exceeded 30 million views on YouTube. On March 5th the new record FEAT (Outside the spaces) was released which contains the new collaborations with Fedez, Vasco Brondi, Colapesce and Mecna, and represents the evolution of the collective project FEAT (State of nature), courageously released in full lockdown on March 13, 2020.
