Cortina Ski World Cup 2023 – January 20 to 22

The dates to mark on your calendar are January 20, 21 and 22, 2023: yes, three days, because Cortina Ski World Cup 2023, one of the three Italian Women’s Cup events, will be a long weekend that will see one race added to the traditional two.

It will start on Friday, 20, with the make-up of the downhill race that was not held in St. Anton (AUT), continuing on Saturday, 21, with the second downhill and concluding on Sunday, 22, with a super-G.

The race venue will, of course, be the Olympia in the Tofane Mountains, which last year saw a double Italian triumph: Sofia Goggia in the downhill and Elena Curtoni in the super-G.

“After the World Cup and after the Cup restart last January, we are ready for a high-intensity weekend in the Ampezzo basin,” says Michele Di Gallo, general manager of Cortina Foundation. A weekend that will be, like last year, the first in a series of competitive events that, in addition to alpine skiing, will also involve other disciplines, such as ski mountaineering, snowboarding and Paralympic winter sports, in a path of growth for the enhancement of the whole territory, in view of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic appointment.”
