Cortina – Gold Cup of the Dolomites
Almost 100 crews at the 2021 edition
The 2021 edition of the classic regularity race in the beautiful and evocative Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is close to 100 registered crews
After a difficult year like 2020, which in any case saw the holding of the Gold Cup of the Dolomites, albeit with the necessary and painful exclusion of the public, 2021 sees the competition accelerate decisively and reach a number of subscribers that touches one hundred of crews.
The constant growth of the Gold Cup participants in recent years confirms the success and appreciation of the event. All this, even considering that the excellent number of crews this year was in any case limited by the travel difficulties due to the restrictions linked to the pandemic. There are therefore several European crews, in addition to the Italians, such as Swiss, Germans, Dutch, Belgians, the Republic of San Marino, Austrians and Ukrainians, in addition to the Libyan crew. However, there are no crews from further afield, which instead had been present in the 2019 edition.
The 2021 Gold Cup of the Dolomites will take place from 15 to 18 July based in Cortina, with two days of competition on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 July. This year’s edition of the Coppa d’Oro delle Dolomiti, a classic regularity competition valid for the ACI Sport Italian Major Events Championship, will once again be realized thanks to the joint efforts of AC Belluno and ACI Sport, with the collaboration of ACI Historical.
