A new and unexpected race for our area, an adrenaline-filled and intense event starting in Piazza Crivellaro in Lentiai.
“Hike & Fly” is a new and fun formula for all fans of walking and running in the mountains and paragliding: challenge the climb, tame the winds, hit the target and return to the start in the shortest possible time, will you make it?
Some details of the event: Departure from the square in Lentiai free route with choice of the most suitable route, strictly on foot, until reaching the summit of Col dei Piatti.
Take-off in order of arrival at the summit. Target landing in the locality of Ronchena near the playground.
Time to fold the glider and load it back onto the shoulders and off we go again towards the centre of Lentiai.
Finish line again in the piazza with a big party, well-deserved refreshments at the finish and prize-giving.
Scoring is based on the proximity of the landing to the centre of the target and the time taken to complete the entire route.
The race is the brainchild of Massimiliano De Bona with the support of the Pro Loco of Lentiai and the Para Delta Club of Feltre.
