The Berici Hills represent another unusual landscape offered by the Pedemontana Veneta to be discovered through pleasant walks, excursions on horseback, by bicycle or mountain bike.
Among the activities that can be practised here, it is also possible to dedicate oneself to golf, Nordic walking or the more challenging discipline of climbing on the famous wall of Lumignano, a rock gym known throughout Europe.
One of the most important architects in the world, Andrea Palladio of Vicenza left numerous testimonies of his architectural genius in the Berici Hills, including villas and important buildings inspired by the Neoclassical ideal.
With their combination of culture and traditions, the Berici Hills also offer numerous food and wine proposals: from wine to grappa, and even oil, recognised with the Veneto Euganean and Berici PDO oil mark. But we should also not forget the Veneto Berico-Euganeo PDO ham, the peas of Lumignano and the cherries of Castegnero, along with other vegetables and fruit that can be tasted along the Berici Hills Wine Route.
