Asolo
Visiting the Marca Trevigiana without stopping in Asolo is like going to Venice without going through San Marco. Asolo is the quintessence of beauty nestled in the hills. A wedding favor with about 9000 inhabitants, and like all wedding favors in the Veneto region, it is worth a visit.

If you are in a hurry or in a hurry, postpone the stop in this wonderful pearl of the Veneto for another time. Asolo must be visited very calmly, in slow motion I would dare to say. Its narrow streets, its palaces, the atmosphere of tranquility that you breathe there by looking out on one of the terraces overlooking the hills famous for their wines and for having hosted characters such as the Queen Mother of England or Marie Jose ‘, just for to mention two of the queens I had the pleasure and honor of photographing. I will not write the list of places to visit, possibly you can easily read the suggestions on the site page (https://www.marcadoc.com/asolo/). The invitation is to stroll through its streets, armed with a camera. A spritz at one of the many bars that overlook the “calli” that seem Venetian (perhaps due to the great influence of the Serenissima on this enchanting “village”), a meal with the specialties of the area bathed in one of the numerous wines in the area. A Prosecco dei Colli Asolani or if you are more inclined to red wines a good high quality Montello Rosso DOCG, obtained with international vines that in these places take on their own specific identity. Venegazzù, Merlot, Cabernet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Manzoni Bianco, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Carmenere and Bianchetta. The oil and cherries that in addition to the fruits give the spring spectacle of flowering, the cheeses of the Massiccio del Grappa area. After your visit to the center, do not miss to get lost in the hills and visit the surroundings, full of surprises and breathtaking views, fairytale views, eighteenth-century villas and a serene and peaceful climate that will make your visit unforgettable.
