Arredamont 2021. The program of the Mountain Furnishing Exhibition has been presented

43rd National Furnishing Show in the mountains

Longarone Fiere – from 30 October to 7 November 2021

The 43rd edition of Arredamont, the mountain furnishing exhibition to be held in Longarone Fiere from 30 October to 7 November, was presented today in the Province of Belluno. The president of the Province and mayor of Longarone, Roberto Padrin, spoke of great enthusiasm and emotion «also by virtue of the fact that we were able to have the balance of Longarone Fiere Dolomiti approved positively. This testifies to the hard work undertaken by all of us with great dedication and which has allowed us to face the challenges posed by our structure ». In conclusion, thanks to everyone «for the precious contribution to the realization of this unique mountain fair».

Even the president of Longarone Fiere Dolomiti, Gian Angelo Bellati, shared “the emotion of Roberto Padrin, because we organized Arredamont with great enthusiasm and always with a certain proactive spirit. While we are aware that every event after Covid brings with it fears and uncertainties, we have never lost hope and worked hard for Arredamont, a fair that is too important and dear not only to us, but also to our visitors. The passion for this work – Bellati continued – distinguishes the whole group involved in the design and construction of our post-pandemic fairs. Thanks also to the precious collaboration of Veneto Agricoltura, we were able to create the Forest Fair and Festival which proved to be a great success with precious European and international actors. Internationality is also the distinctive character of our increasingly exceptional 43rd edition of Arredamont, as revealed by our data: 141 direct exhibitors and 172 corporate brands, from 12 Italian regions and 6 foreign countries. It is clear that there is great interest in the Mountain Furnishing Fair, the only true mountain fair not only in Italy, but also in Europe. In addition – concluded Bellati – we will have precious training moments such as the Dolomiti Handmade workshops and the meetings of C.I.T.A – the Italian Association of Tappezzieri Arredatori – as well as Arte in Fiera Dolomiti and the C.F.S. – Belluno Training and Safety Center. We therefore expect 25,000 visitors and a great success with a new, increasingly original, international, safe and accessible Arredamont ».

The presentation was closed by the president of CITA, Ernesto Contessa: “Arredamont is a great emotion for us and not being able to realize it last year was really a great disappointment, but we must grasp the lessons of this historical pandemic era with greater confidence and reflection. on the values of art and culture and for this reason we decided to involve the schools of interior design and architecture, to be able to tell the masterpieces and projects of design and upholstery with the soul of young people. Thanks to the exhibition, we will bring the talent of precious craftsmen and projects of selected students who will create new and original artifacts. It is essential to believe in training in order to be able to give birth to new talented designers in an industry that is increasingly lacking in qualified personnel due to the end of the career of the generations of the 60s and 70s. We as an Association are investing in the potential of young people and for this reason we continue to forward requests to schools to prepare more and more competent personnel in this sector ».
